Amidst the lovey-dovey atmosphere, a young lady requests a token of affection from her sweetheart. Seizing the opportunity, the beau swipes a pocket watch from a dozing man. Charlie, always the opportunist, intervenes, rescuing the stolen timepiece and gallantly presenting it to the eager girl.

However, the escapade takes a twist as Charlie, in his classic misadventures, ends up with the watch once more. Seizing a chance to make a quick buck, he attempts to sell it back to its original owner, who promptly involves a policeman. What follows is a chaotic sequence, with park visitors inadvertently taking a plunge into the lake. Love tokens, stolen watches, and a splash of comedic chaos – just another day in Charlie's world!
